OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

In the broadest description of the American educational system, Elementary Education encompasses grades 1-5 and Middle School comprises of grades 6- 8.

Attendance at school is compulsory from the time a child turns 6 years of age until she/he reaches the age of 16. Most students complete the second year of Senior High School in these ten years and most spend the next two years finishing high school in order to receive their High School Diploma which is required for college/university entrance.

Many high school graduates do go on to college where they enter a variety of programs which lead to a one-year certificate or a two or four-year degree. With a four year degree, student may enter graduate school where 1-2 years of study lead to a Masters Degree and 3-4 years to a Doctorate (either a Ph.D. or an Ed.D.)

For 2008-2009, Future Bilingual School accepts students aged 2 ½ to 3 ½ years for the Pre-Kindergarten program and for students aged between 3 ½ and 5 ½  years in Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2.  Students aged 5 ½ years and over are enrolled in the Elementary Department.
